  New Federal Hillbillys was an early 2000s free improvisation noise group founded by Creed Dew, Mike Samos, Adam Souza, and Jeff Keithline. Joined by whomever happened to show up on any given occasion, the 'band" would spontaneously perform extended improvisations using a vast array of conventional (guitars, violins, various drums, keyboards etc) and unconventional (bicycle parts, prepared stringed things, wine glasses, etc) to create weird and beautiful musical pulsations.
